Quick Start

Column Chart​

  1. Add the SDM Smart Column Chart to your report
  2. Drag a categorical field to the Axis well
  3. Drag one or more measures to the Values well
  4. (Optional) Drag a field to Legend to split bars by series

Chart Types​

In the Bar Settings card, choose from:

  • Column — Vertical grouped bars
  • Bar — Horizontal grouped bars
  • Stacked Column — Vertical stacked bars
  • Stacked Bar — Horizontal stacked bars
  • 100% Stacked Column / Bar — Percentage stacking

Line Chart​

  1. Add the SDM Smart Line Chart to your report
  2. Drag a categorical field to the Axis well
  3. Drag one or more measures to Values
  4. (Optional) Use Legend to create multiple series

Legend Position​

The line chart supports a unique End of Line legend position that places series labels directly at the end of each line, with automatic overlap prevention and lead lines.

Scatter Plot​

  1. Add the SDM Smart Scatter Plot to your report
  2. Drag measures to X Axis and Y Axis
  3. (Optional) Drag a field to Values (Labels) for point labels
  4. (Optional) Use Legend for color grouping
  5. (Optional) Drag a measure to Size for bubble sizing

Zoom Inset​

The scatter plot supports a Zoom Inset feature that magnifies a region of the chart for detailed inspection.
